1. Identification

2. Purpose
These terms and conditions govern the relationship between LEFE and its customers with respect to the provision of services related to the installation, maintenance, and sale of solar energy, HVAC, and biomass systems, as well as related services.
3. Quotes and Proposals
- Quotes are free and non-binding
- Offers are valid for 30 days from the date of issuance
- The prices listed include VAT at the current statutory rate, unless otherwise indicated
- Any additional work not originally planned will be quoted separately
4. Payment Terms
Payment terms are specified in each commercial proposal. Unless otherwise agreed, the following applies:
- 30% deposit upon acceptance of the proposal
- 60% upon delivery of the equipment or commencement of installation
- 10% upon completion and delivery of the project
5. Delivery and Installation Deadlines
The delivery times listed are estimates and may vary depending on material availability, weather conditions, or other factors beyond LEFE’s control. The company undertakes to notify customers of any delays as far in advance as possible.
6. Warranties
The warranty does not cover damage resulting from misuse, accidents, extraordinary natural events, or tampering by unauthorized third parties.
- Labor: 2 years from the date of installation
- Equipment: Manufacturer's warranty (typically 5 to 25 years, depending on the equipment)
- Solar panels: 10–15-year product warranty and 25-year performance warranty
7. Liability
LEFE shall not be liable for any indirect or consequential damages arising from the use of the installed equipment. Maximum liability is limited to the value of the contract entered into.
8. Intellectual Property
All content on this website (text, images, logos) is the property of LEFE or its licensors and is protected by copyright. Reproduction without prior authorization is prohibited.
9. Dispute Resolution
In the event of a dispute, the consumer may turn to alternative dispute resolution bodies for consumer disputes. For more information: www.consumidor.gov.pt.
If an amicable resolution cannot be reached, Portuguese law shall apply, and the courts of the district of Braga shall have jurisdiction.
10. Governing Law
These terms are governed by Portuguese law, specifically Decree-Law No. 24/2014 (distance selling and contracts concluded off-premises) and other applicable legislation.
